    Move Mate provides reusable, heavy-duty plastic moving crates for hire as a smarter alternative to cardboard boxes.

    We deliver our premium moving crates to your door, - you then pack and move at your convenience. When you're done, we collect the crates from your new address!

    Simple, affordable, and environmentally friendly!

    We currently deliver and collect within South East Queensland, including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and surrounding areas.

    If you’re outside this area, contact us and we’ll see what we can arrange.

    The initial hire period is 1 week (7 days) but you can easily extend your hire if needed.

    Simply select a 2 week, 3 week or 4 week package as required. If you need even more time, just add the additional time frame to your booking!

    Payment is made online at the time of booking. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other secure online payment methods. Your booking is only confirmed once payment is received.

    We are the only heavy duty moving box supplier in Australia that offers 3 different convenient sizes to help make your move a breeze!

    Our MEDIUM sized boxes have a 45L capacity and measure 530 x 320 x 320mm

    Our LARGE sized boxes have a 72L capacity and measure 610 x 500 x 320mm

    Our X-LARGE sized boxes have a 135L capacity and measure 700 x 500 x 550mm

    Absolutely! Our crates are ideal for office moves, too. We can provide larger quantities, trolleys (dollies), and customised packages to suit corporate relocations.

    Yes! By hiring reusable crates instead of buying disposable cardboard boxes, you’re reducing waste and supporting a more sustainable moving process. Plus, we donate a portion of every hire to local tree-planting initiatives.

    Yes! We offer accessories like tape, bubble wrap, labels, and moving dollies to make your move easier. You can add these to your order when booking your crates.

    You can book directly online at movemate.com.au. Just choose your crate package, delivery date, and any extras you need — it only takes a few minutes!

    Yes, we ask that someone is present to receive the crates upon delivery and to hand them back upon collection.

    If this isn’t possible, just let us know at the time of booking so we can 

    No worries! Just let us know before your scheduled collection and we’ll extend your hire. Additional hire fees apply, and we’ll confirm these before extending your booking.

    If the crates aren’t ready for collection at the agreed time, a failed collection fee may apply. We’ll reschedule another collection, but please ensure the crates are fully emptied and stacked.

    Absolutely. Every crate is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between hires to ensure they arrive ready for safe use in your home or office.

    We provide removable labels for easy identification, so you don’t need to write directly on the crates. Please avoid using permanent markers, tape, or stickers, as cleaning fees may apply if crates are returned with adhesive residue.

    You are responsible for the crates while they’re in your possession. If any crates are lost, stolen, or significantly damaged, you will be charged the replacement cost per crate. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.

    Can I cancel my booking if my plans change?
